Jordan’s POV When the call came, I didn’t even think twice. I grabbed my keys and told Elle to meet me by the front gate. The police had found Amelia, alone, scared, but alive. The moment Elle heard it, her knees almost gave out. I caught her before she fell. Her hands were shaking, and for the first time since I’d known her, she couldn’t speak.
