Sitting in the office I think about the night before, I'm a bit irritated Maddie hasn't replied all day. I know what month it is but she usually did not ignore me. Sighing I tell whoever it was that is knocking to come in. It is Tricia, Maddie's secretary, she was holding a cell phone which I recognized immediately as Maddie's. apparently when I walked her out last night she had left her phone behind. I look down in time to read a message threatening Maddie. With out hesitation I open her messages after just 2 of the 53 unread I now know why my business partner goes distant during this month. I am pissed, I wish she would have told me this, of all the things that woman tells me this is an important piece of information. I would have had her number changed and set to private, another message dings, I am ready to strangle whom ever this jo is. After I calm a bit I call Rowland and let him know Maddie's phone is here at the office, he tells me he will come get it. I asked him if he knew about the messages, I hear him take a deep breath and say she vaguely told him about it. when he shows up we speak briefly, I am still pissed off at the s**t I read but I tell Rowland to try to get it taken care of.... I watch him leave. I know eventually she will come and talk to me, but some times I f*****g hate how she allows some people treat her.
