John was scared because Ben was coming and he didn't want to do the thing. But he had to for money. John was not the type to take things. The only time he took things was when he was a kid. But he stopped when Annie was by him. Annie was like a sister to him. Also the only time he took things was when Annie was a kid like him and needed food. When they got older Annie said to him " "not to steal or take food that we got to earn money like other people do." So yeah he was scared he wanted it to turn into a bird and fly off. Annie came by him to calm him down. Annie knew John was scared. Annie told him to come outside with her. When they went outside. Annie sees Ben walking with a bag. The bag looks like it might be heavy. Annie tries not to look at Ben. She looks at John to make sure John doesn't sees so he can't freak out again. Ben sees John he was cute outside with the window blowing his hair around Ben trying to focus on walking up the mountain rock so he kept on walking almost to the top. He stopped when he was by Annie. He tapped Annie on the shoulder and said " hi" and grabbed the money out of his pocket that was in a small bag. And hand it to Annie. Annie said "hi" and took the money. Ben asked "John if he was ready". John wants it to say no. But he said" yes". Because it said "lead the way to your room". John was scared but went into the cave to his room. He sleeps on a rock that looks like a bed. He has a blanket and a pillow too. Ben looks around John's room. Ben thinks the room is not that bad. After looking around. Ben went in his bag. And grab out the rope. John was shocked to see the rope. He asked "what is the rope for". Ben said "you find out". Ben walked over to John and said hold out your hands. John put both of his hands out right in front of Ben. Ben ties the rope around John's wrist. Then Ben grabbed the other parts of the rope that was not tied to it to something. He told John to lay down. And John did. Ben looked around John's bed to see if he could tie the other end of the rope to something. He saw a rock he tied the rope on to the rock and made sure the rock was not Sharp.
