I tried to sleep my worries that night but I couldn't. To save me from sleepless nights, I cherished James' warmth as he laid beside me. Realizing my touch, he embraced my entirety, holding me close to him where I can feel his every exhale. This man of mine knows how to make me feel safe amidst everything that was happening to us. My worries started to disappear as the soft rhythm of his chest lulled me to sleep. I guessed that happened just so I could wake up from soft whimpers of someone in sorrow.
