Lino and Van arrived at the university basketball court together about twenty minutes before the scheduled start of the tryouts for the varsity basketball team. Both of them felt relieved that they came just on time. Inside the basketball gym, there were fourteen other guys wearing jerseys. Lino thought that some of them were probably members of the varsity basketball team while others were there for the tryout.
“Finally, we’re here,” Van said while both of them were gasping after the running they did to get to the basketball gym faster.
