That Sunday morning, it took Lino about thirty minutes to get from their family house to the Jollibee restaurant where he was supposed to meet up with Pia. He managed to spot Pia almost immediately near the entrance of the restaurant and waved at her.
“Lino!” Pia called out cheerfully upon seeing her handsome boyfriend.
Lino quickly approached and hugged his pretty girlfriend and said, “Finally! We’ve met again! I missed you so much, Pia! It’s been a while!”
“Me too, Lino!” Pia exclaimed in excitement. “How have you been?”
“Just fine!” Lino replied with a smirk while looking at his girlfriend’s eyes. “And you?”
“I’m okay too,” Pia replied while grinning. “So, shall we order some food now?”
Lino nodded and said, “Yes! Let’s go inside, babe!”
