Both Lino and Ersel did not come to the practice of the Soul Chorale due to the argument that they had with each other. This led to Aaron asking Van about what happened to them, with the latter saying that both of them had to attend to some urgent matters.
“So, what did Aaron say?” Ersel asked the next day before their first class started. Both he and Van were talking just outside the classroom.
“Aaron wanted both of you to explain yourselves to him in a written letter,” Van replied. “So both you and Lino need to think of your own good excuses.”
“Okay. I will. But...I wonder what I should write,” Ersel answered while also trying to think of a good excuse.
“Maybe just say that you had to attend to some important family matters,” Van suggested
