"What’s wrong?" Callie asks, coming inside the kitchen, and I tell her Veil is still not home. I wasn’t feeling well, and I took some pain medication, which knocked me out for four hours. I was woken up by Castiel because he wanted to know what we wanted for dinner. He said he came around 7 p.m., saw that I was sleeping, and didn’t want to wake me. But when the clock struck 9 p.m. and I was still sleeping, he woke me up.
I told him what we wanted, and he went to ask Veil. We decided to do takeout tonight. When he got to her room, she was not there. He said he thought maybe she was sleeping too when he came to me earlier. He said she was over at Linton’s house earlier today, and it didn’t go well, so he thought she needed some time to herself.
