THE COLD LAKE The night flew by pretty soon, as the tents weren’t as uncomfortable as Aaron thought, so he fell asleep quickly, not to be awoken by anyone until dawn. Early that morning, Aaron woke up to the sound of not only singing birds, but also of food being made. He unzipped the tent door, and gazed around. The sun was very bright, so he had to squint his eyes. “Morning!” Hunter cried, as he eyeballed the food that was over the fire. “Hey… what are you cooking there? It smells great!” Aaron couldn’t contain himself, he was too curious. “We’re cooking some meat for the hotdog buns, since this is the only food we’ve brought,” Amber explained it to him. * * * “How am I supposed to go with you, guys, in the lake, if I don’t even have a swimming suit?” Aaron questioned his friends.
