REALITY KICKS IN
Later that day, a romantic movie caught their attention, as they watched it with delight. The film ended with the protagonists kissing. Amber wiped the tears from her eyes, as Aaron chuckled at her. She threw a pillow at him, and they both started laughing. They were having a great time together.
Right then, right there, Aaron broke into reality. He had to face the truth; he was still in that town, in that unknown place, away from what he knew to be home. He couldn’t keep running away from this, no matter how hard he tried. Not even his newly acquired friends could help him get his mind off of his previous life.
