JOB APPLICATION
“I would like to apply for this job,” Aaron said, smiling and standing straight.
The manager pretended to evaluate Aaron, and then came to a final verdict.
“You seem ready and strong. You could attract people and help them out… Ok, I will hire you, but if you disappoint me, then I shall fire you… because I have a lot of people that want this job.” The truth was that not a lot of people liked working there, but the manager was desperate.
“Thank you, sir. You shall not be disappointed.” He shook hands with the manager.
“You’ll start tomorrow morning.” The manager retreated his hand from Aaron’s tight grip, and gently rubbed it against his leg. He left Aaron alone, with an employer at the cash counter.
