The Prophecy

Chapter 2

    Dean was sitting behind his desk drinking his cup of coffee, just waiting for his father to show up. His assistant buzzed on the intercom telling him that he was here. "Send him in" Dean stood up and waited as his father came in shook his hand and took a seat on the other side of the desk. "I'm sure you are wondering why I am here and I'm just going to cut to the chase. You have two months to find your Luna or we are going to lose our pack. I want to know what you are doing to make sure that doesn't happen." Damn.... he isn't here to mess around  "Dad, you know I am doing everything I can.. I haven't felt the bond with anyone. What the f**k would you like me to do about that?" "Damn it Dean, you are not even trying! Everything we've worked for and you are sitting in the office day after day! If you haven't felt the bond with someone then pick a f*****g chosen mate. Pick the next Luna or we are going to lose everything and I'll be damned if I let that happen."  "Dad, are you f*****g kidding me right now. Does mom know you are saying this to me. You want me to give up my wolf bond and just pick some random b***h to be the next Luna... okay and then what happens when I do finally feel the bond with someone. What I'm just supposed to reject her because you made me pick a chosen mate and be miserable for the rest of my life? I'm not doing it. I want to be find her as much as you want me to but I refuse to give that up and if I lost my spot as Alpha because of it then I lose my f*****g spot. Maybe I don't want to be Alpha.... Did that ever occur to you.. No I'm sure it didn't because god forbid you thought of someone other then yourself for five minutes. Now I'm going to ask you nicely to leave my office before I throw you out that f*****g door." "Dean, I am your father and the Alpha of this pack which means what I say goes and IF you do not find your mate in the next 2 weeks you WILL take a chosen one. I won't be disrespected." "I'm sure mom would love to know you said that.. Now I am not going to ask again. Leave. My. Office. Now."

    I can't f*****g believe him. Give up my mate bond and take some random woman who I don't love to be my chosen mate. He is right though. I haven't even tried to look if I am being honest with myself. I mean I know it isn't any of the girls from my pack. I would of felt the bond with them and I haven't.. I don't have time to think about this right now.

    Dean pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind for now. He had a lot of work to do. He was one of the youngest CEO's of his time. He ran a multi-million tech company that took up 98% of his time and was a big factor into why he was not planning on taking a chosen mate. Dean is only 24 years old and not only is he smart he is gorgeous. He is 6'2'', has shaggy dirty blonde hair, the most memorizing green eyes and he was build like a Greek god. All the women he has ever tried to date are only interested in him for his looks or his money, but he was so much more then that. 

    He looked at the clock and saw he was running late for his next meeting. Some of the hiring department wanted to set up a booth at the local college fair that was taking place in two weeks. Dean was all for it because he never actually went to college. He got lucky right out of high school taking an internship and wanted to give some other kid the same big break. If only I could catch another big break and just meet my Luna already.....
