AURA’S POV
I awoke to strong arms holding me, making me feel safe.
I thought it was a dream that Bane came home, but it wasn’t. He was here and he was okay.
His hands rested over my growing belly as his chest and rose and fell slowly next to me.
We cuddled up on the couch and fell asleep.
There were still cartoons playing loudly on the huge tv near us, as the kids all slept on the make shift beds on the floor.
When I woke up at the hospital and had no one there, it felt like I was back at my family’s palace as a prisoner.
The pain was to consuming to where my mind started to block out my memories, until they all started to flood back slowly.
