It felt so good to have my hair blowing in the wind again. It was like a winter wonderland out here. I never thought I would get to see something this beautiful again. Being locked up for so long made me lose hope.
We ran behind the castle near the houses. Drayton took us to the house that was farthest from the castle, near the tree line and not too far from the snow covered mountains.
He stopped once we stood in front of the porch. He kneeled down for me to get off. I jumped down into the snow, feeling it crunch beneath my feet.
"Go get dressed so I can see how big you've gotten." I said out excitedly to the boys. They both walked up the steps and into the house, disappearing.
I was so excited to see them. It's been over six years since I saw them.
