The scent of woodsmoke filled the four corners of the room where Migumi is currently resting. I decided to light up a fire in the chimney when I noticed her fever getting worse.
I knew that this day would come.
I mentally prepared myself for Migumi’s transformation, for the moment when the wolf within her would finally break free. I have even witnessed the transformation process of my own pack mates, but it seemed like nothing could have prepared me for the day where I’d see my mate screaming in pain and agony.
