Delia had green eyes, and she was always gazing at people with a cold and calm gaze, the only superfluous emotions being anger and alarm.
I didn't spend much time in the meeting, especially when I found out that my partner was Delia, and there was no way to deny my repulsion.
Yet, driven by instinct, I wanted to be near her.
When I got back, Julia saw my face and knew that something must have happened to me again.
"Did everything go well?"
"Where's Edwina?"
