Chapter Thirty-Three First LightThe single lamp on the desk shed a soft light in the room. Rachel St. Clair lay on the bed. Her head throbbed and her stomach churned. Her hair was plastered to her brow and her pajamas were soaked with sweat. She groaned and tried to sit up, but the room began to spin and she almost threw up. She collapsed back on the bed. “Help me, Lord...please help me!” Rachel!
