Reason to Love

6. A Needed change

A man in his mid forties was sitting on a couch in his deep thoughts unaware of the fact that his wife is watching him. That lady clearly knows the thoughts cooking in his head for past few months, a clear sorrow, worry and pain is visible in both of their faces.

Sridhar felt the couch dipping beside him and turned to see his wife Madhavi looking at him with sadness all over her face. He cannot see his lovable partner with sadness but still he cannot do anything to wash away the sadness from her face because not only her even he is suffering from that same pain. It is not possible to recover soon but we can attempt to move on. However, they had realized the fact of loss and ready to move on but they are unable to make a person to move on who is sitting in her room upstairs only in complete darkness,tears and pain.

As an uncle and guardian he had tried a lot to relieve her from the past but everything ends in utter failure, nor his wife or his daugther are able to do that. They get very rare response from her when they talk to her,even her food remains untouched or little eaten. He don't know what to do for her change but he surely knows that he had lost his naughty and charming Niece when he lost his sister and brother-in-law. It has been six months from that day, the day he lost his two loved ones.

Harivardhan his sister's husband and his beloved brother-in-law was a CBI officer, and his sister Mythili was a lovable wife and a good mother. He didn't know that it will be a last vacation to spend with them. Nilgiris, it is a green world with cool and pleasant climate that is also a reason they visit there often to his sister's house. On that day all of them were descending down the hill station to coimbatore. After reaching the city they wanted to get some refreshments, Sridhar, his wife Madhavi and his daughter Aahana headed towards the shop to buy some eatables as Harivardhan and Mythili refused to get down of the car as they were tired and wanted to take a nap. They didn't know that destiny will play a game by hitting their car by a heavy speed lorry, everything happened in a blink of second. Sudden crashing sound made the people around to jump in fear which included the three who were at the shop. Everyone rushed towards the spot but none was able to stop the lorry from speeding away. Three hearts were beating faster than ever due to the scene front of them, only the shouting of the crowd made them realize the state. They ran towards the car with fear and heavy heart, they wished it should not be their loved ones or it should be a bad dream before they reach there. But nothing is going to change, what happened is happened. Sridhar's body started to shiver terribly by seeing the condition of the car.It was partially crushed. Before he could think to do something ambulance arrived for service. Living in busy city like Mumbai accident is not new for him and running his own security firm had provided him with good experience to deal with blooded bodies but now he cannot put his brain to work on that because the people who had suffered this are his loved ones. His heart is welled up with fear of loosing them. Never in his dreams he had thought to loosing his only relation and blood. Not even before thirty minutes they reached hospital, both his brother-in-law and sister were taken into ICU. Three of them were waiting impatiently to get some positive reply but what all they got left them heart-broken that their loved ones cannot survive even for complete 24 hrs. A strong person also has a thin heart to shed tears when his loved ones cannot make it to live their life with him. He has his wife and daughter beside him for his support but even they cannot accept the fact of losing them. Three of them are exhausted and tired of the inccident but their tears are not tired to stop.

A sudden thought of a person hit him hard, his niece Aadhira. His emotions stopped for a moment of her thought,how is he going to tell her that her lovable parents will not survive. He rushed outside immediately with his phone,he took a deep breath to relax himself so that he could not break down while talking with her. After five minutes, making up his mind he called her. He informed her only the partial truth. He didn't want her to lose her control before reaching here. He knows she could not handle the sudden disaster, for his relief her friends Yadav and Pallavi supported her till hospital.

He was not able to see the vulnerable state of her niece after learning the complete truth. She stood there in the corridor like a lost child with tears and pain after visiting her parents in that room. The moment her parents soul was away they had taken the naughtiness and charm of their little girl.

He was determined to punish the culprit for the loss of his loved ones. He didn't want to depend on police to punish the culprit but somehow the department decided to work on the case by itself as Harivardhan was a dedicated CBI officer. Sridhar made his own path to find the culprit by using the power of his security firm. With help of CCTV camera he chased the lorry and driver, finally he came to know that the accident was planned and done for revenge. Because the person was identified and punished for his crime in a recent case by Harivardhan. He was a bloody rival. This made Sridhar's blood to boil, how could he do such a disaster for doing his duty, he knows very well about his brother-in-law that he analysis every nook and corner of a case to identify the right culprit. He will always be clear and aware not to punish an innocent. But Sridhar is not like his brother-in-law, he had made his mind that the monster who killed his loved ones will not be alive to see his next sunrise. Sridhar is an intelligent fellow in the business of security firm, he knows very well how to cover up the crime, no one can go against him even if they suspect on him. Because he has all the underground records to deal whoever mess up with him. Many times he had helped police in difficult cases to trace out the culprit, so it may not be a big deal for him to remove the shades of his crime.

He is satisfied by his punishment to that monster his hard and strong heart becomes soft and weak and helpless when he sees his niece. He is dumbstruck about her state.
