A girl was sitting on the slab of a window in a dim light room looking out towards the park with pain filled eyes. She lied her head on wall feeling completely tired, after what felt like decade she closed her eyes completely exhausted. Her body is exhausted due to continuous crying and irregular food but not her heart or soul is exhausted and will never happen. Did she deserve this pain? Can it not be healed? She don't have answers for these question but one thing is for sure that she don't want this pain to be replaced with anything else. She opened her eyes and again turned to look into the park. A little girl was running around the park with joy but suddenly she skidded down and resulted in bleeding on her left knee which made her cry. The mother of the little girl ran towards her and picked the girl by wiping her tears and uttering soothing words. A sudden memory flashed into the girl who was watching the scene from her window.
Memory flash,
"Aadhi dear don't run too fast" her mother shouted while trying to catch her.
"Try to catch me ma. I am a fast runner, you can't catch me easily" Aadhi giggled and showed her tounge out while running in the garden.Suddenly she heard a car horn of her dad at entrance of her house.
"Ma...Dad has come... daddy! daddy!"she started to run towards her dad but suddenly slipped down due to slippery mud and started to cry. Her mother rushed towards her immediately and lifted her up.
Dad who heard her baby girl crying rushed towards garden panicked and saw his girl crying with a wound on her right elbow and knees. He took her in his arms and cooed her to calm her crying. Her mother rushed immediately into the house and returned with First aid kit.
Mother: "I told you not run faster, see now you have got hurt" scolded her baby girl.
Father: "don't scold her Mythili. she is a kid." her father tried to console the mother.
Mother: "you always support your daughter. But she is the one now suffering from pain. see how it is bleeding from her little leg. she can't bear this pain." she told in a worried tone.
Aadhi hissed in pain and started crying louder by hugging her father tighter when her mother started to treat her wound.
Father: "My baby girl is a strong girl, isn't she? he asked looking down at his daughter who was crying badly.
Aadhi nodded her head in positive with tears flowing down on her cheeks.
Father: "strong girls don't cry for this small wounds dear. You are a strong girl right then you should not cry for these small wounds."
Aadhi immediately wiped her tears and nodded again.
Father: "That's my girl"saying this he kissed her cheeks.
Meanwhile her mother finished treating her wounds and kissed her forehead, again rushed inside the house to bring her baby girl's favourite ice-cream to make her smile.
Memory flash ended.
Hot tears started to flow down again which she don't want to stop. How much she shed her tears the pain cannot be erased and is still fresh.
She slowly started to dwell into her world with closed eyes and teared cheeks not aware of the fact that two pair of eyes watching her at the door of her room with worried state.
