Lana's POV
I was eager to get home and just have a break after working hard since I had started at Sternpoint. Uncle Mariko and uncle Reggie would force me to go home. Maddie came back into my office with coffee and our lunch. She placed it on my desk. She took a seat across from me.
"You seemed very nervous earlier when Mr Moses was here," I smiled at her. She paused as she took her lunch out of the paper bag.
"He is very...intimidating." she smiled shyly.
"He is actually a very nice person. So...do you live here on your own?" I asked because, due to her financial problems with studies alone, I hope that she isn't struggling with keeping a roof over her head.
