Lana's POV
I let out a breath as I stood in the crowd, the two weeks flew by and now I am at Sternpoint's anniversary celebration. I can hear my heart beat in my head, the sounds around me disappear. My throat felt like it would close. I placed my hand against my chest as I watched everyone around me interact with each other.
"You look so beautiful," I snapped out of my oncoming panic attack. Arden placed his hand at the small of my back. "Are you okay?" he asked as his smile changed to concern.
He cupped the side of my face, "I'm nervous," I said.
