"Well, maybe you should just relax. Everything will fall into place at the right time," Dr. Charles said, turning to leave. Just as he began walking away, an idea sparked in my mind. "Wait!" I screamed out, louder than I intended. The suddenness of my voice made Dr. Charles freeze in his tracks and turn back, startled. "What's wrong, Miss Lawrence? Are you alright?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern. "Sorry, I didn't mean to yell," I quickly apologized, realizing how much my outburst had affected him. The door creaked open, and a nurse peered in, scanning the room for any signs of trouble. "It's okay.
