"Wake up, b***h!" a stern, menacing voice cut through the dim room, accompanied by a heavy splash of icy water that slammed against my face and body like a slap. The shock jolted me out of my unconsciousness, leaving me gasping for air. My lungs burned, and my chest heaved as I struggled to fill them with oxygen.
