"Tiana" a voice echoed. "You are the future "Chosen by the moon goddess "Fated with Alphaeous "You are the only one to fulfill the mission Six Old women started coming closer to her. Each screaming her name- stretching out a hand. Their voice was old- Ancient. Her heart raced fast, she tried to run but her legs were stuck to the ground. "No! No!! No!!" She screamed jumping from her bed which was soaked with sweat. It was a dream, a revealing dream. "The future, chosen, Fated to Alphaeous" She Recalled. "Who is that ancient voice" "It is the moon goddess, you are linked with her blood and you could hear from her" Shira howled. "That means you are the Chosen Omega in this moon circle" She needed to see the pack seer, she never had any idea of what the dream meant. She was a mere Omega who was unseen and not considered in any of the pack's meeting. She was weak, untrained for war and now her wolf, Shira is telling that she was a Chosen one. She stood up, it was still dark outside and she needed to wait- till morning before seeing the pack's seer. ✓✓✓ "In every moon circle, an Omega was always chosen to execute a mission" Telma, the pack seer explained and paused for a while. "And you are the chosen omega of this present moon circle" "But the mission is very dreadful, going into the forest to defeat the great Silver Gecko" "Who is the Silver Gecko" "A mighty beast of the snow that hunted chosen ones, they possess the silver power blade" "The only thing that could kill a wolf" I cut in. "Yes including the alter of flames, a sacred alter of fire and if any Omega could defeat the great Silver Gecko and posses his silver power blade and the flame' 'History has it the chosen omega would become so powerful " "Stating that that Omega would be powerful and could be mated to any wolf of any rank" "Including the Alpha? "Yes" she replied, her tone soft and calm. I smiled, all I wanted. I never wanted to be considered weak again. Even in the mating ball. "Any alternative" "No" she retorted sharply. "And if the chosen omega refuses to embark on this journey" "They were either sacrificed by their pack for safety" "Safety of what" "Or else that the Silver Gecko would hunt all the Omega down" Instantly, fear gripped me. It sounded scary, adventurous and dangerous. I rose up from the woven mat slowly, my heart filled with thought. "Why me" I asked myself, tear falling from eyes. I quickly wiped it so Telma wouldn't take a quick notice of it. ••• 'You mean you are the chosen one' Katie, our pack trainer asked me with concern. "That's what fate decides for me" "It's quite fortunate" "Why me" I sniffed. "Don't say so, the moon goddess chose you for a reason" her expression was soft and kind. "She mistook me, I barely know anything about training" "I really feel for you" "Being Chosen is more of a blessing than a curse" "I am not even seen nor considered in the pack, no help" "You could still break the record" "Over Thousands of chosen omega like me had undergone it without returning" "The Journey sounds dangerous" "It's a must for you to embark" "Or else... Katie paused for a moment. "My pack would sacrifice me" "Would you want that" She asked. Her eyes widened. "No!" I retorted sharply. "And I can't refuse to embark on the mission of the moon goddess" 'The moon goddess chose wrong' I cried, my mind silent. My wolf felt for me, it cried silently inside me. It was my companion, more like a family. "I would go" I suddenly sounded courageous. 'Really?? When" "Right now, ready to face fate' I stood up to leave. "You have not undergone any training yet" she yelled but I ignored her leaving her alone as she stared at me in a confused manner. ••••••••• "You sound bold" "Thousands of chosen omega have embarked on the journey to Vieen" "A forest filled with mystery" Sara, the fortifier explained. "Are you sure you want to embark on this journey" "My decision is finalized" I voiced. My braveness was increasing, I was ready. I was chosen for a reason- to live and fulfill my mission or die. "Your fortification would take place now" 'Do your best, I am leaving now' Sara departed and arrived again with some strange fluid including a lamp and a mat. She unfolded the mat and wore a glare at me. "Squat on it" she ordered. As Tiana squatted on it, she sprinkled the fluid on her alongside chanting some words which seemed strange to Tiana. "You want to tread on the path of danger" An ominous voice echoed. Sara brought out a sharp blade and cut Tiana skin allowing her blood to drip on a bowl. She mixed the blood with the strange fluid and bathed Tiana with it. "It is done" Sara concluded handing a scroll to her. "In that scroll, all about your journey is contained there" 'I really wish you the best' 'Think of this decision' Shira whispered. TIANA IN VIEEN The cricket chirped, the birds sang in the trees. Tiana stood boldly, her body was stained due to the fortification. The wind brushed her hair sideways. 'Are you ready' Shira questioned. 'Of course' 'Behind you' Shira warned. Tiana rotated back, two masked men were walking towards her. She brought out her spear ready to throw. 'Who are you' One questioned. 'Why ask, let eliminate her' the second one ordered rushing towards her but Tiana held him by his neck- strangling him to death. She smiled, the boldness just came into her. 'You seem prepared' The second uttered beaming a forced smile. He walked towards her ready for a fight but in haste, Tiana threw her spear at him and he fell down bleeding. 'They seem weak' Tiana blurted. 'The journey just begun' Shira whispered.
