I made a chant, my eyes shut. In a trice, I shouted. My body vibrating. My skin buzzed. I found myself in another word entirely. It was a forest filled with white wolves, their eyeballs silver- piercing. It wasn't a dream, it was real- my body felt there. A wolf among the wolves came out, it was huge than the others. It shut it eyes and turned to a young lady draped in a silver loose gown. Her hair was grey, they were long. She blinked at me and wore a smile. I couldn't make out what that meant.
'She is Shiloh'
My wolf whispered.
'I am Shiloh, your wolf is right'
She aired and beamed a forced smile at me.
'She read minds'
I thought to myself.
'I am the forest goddess, Silent Queen'
'I adore you'
I fell on my knees.
'I know you, that mark'
'What mark'
She chuckled and pointed at a scar at my neck. I had seen that mark right from birth and I never cared to ask.
'Your mum made that'
'You know my mother' I questioned.
'Kola Beta is your mum, she lived for centuries'
'Centuries"?????
'Yes, even before you were born'
"She was a chosen omega like you, she was allowed to live long so she could fulfill her mission'
'But she didn't and her pack sacrificed her'
I turned back, tears dripping from my eyes. It was passed down to me.
"But............
'Now it's your turn to carry on'
I wiped my tears and turned to her.
"Generation to another"?
"No"
"The goddess chose you for a reason"
I gazed at her and a smile curled up my lips.
"There is no time, the next moon circle is drawing near"
"You need to undergo a training by me"
"But firstly let me see what you got" she smiled and disappeared.
I had to train for the journey but what I got to offer was what I couldn't show off.
Suddenly Alphaeous appeared in the scene with a sword on his hands. He inched closer, his eyes were blood shot. His eyes swept over me as he rolled his eyes.
"You have come again" I yelled and drew out my spear.
He never uttered any word but a devilish smile lit up his face.
We rushed towards each other clashing our sword together. He suddenly disappeared and Shiloh appeared.
"Nice one"
"I just tested your braveness with an image of Alphaeous, you were bold fighting with an Alpha despite your rank"
"You wiped the fear of defeat"
"But get the rules of fighting get into your head"
"When fighting you fight to win"
She said softly and paused for a while.
"Your opponent weak point should be your aim"
She pointed.
"Take a note of their weak point before attacking"
"Also dodge any slight aim made
I only nodded.
"Also you must learn to use your sword"
""Sword"???????
"Yes Magical sword, ancient sword kept for chosen ones like you" she said in a very prolonged manner.
"I don't have one neither heard of such"
She laughed and clapped her hands.
"You need to see Karina,she is in possession of it"
"She is located at the South- East of the Vieen forest"
"I think I'll depart from here but a fighting partner will do"
"To get busy" she concluded and faded into thin air.
"Watch out"
My wolf warned.
Before I could get the trace of danger coming, I was on the floor. I turned, my eyes catching a sight of a girl. Her hands gripping a sword.
"Hello partner, I am Rachie"
She smiled with her eyes.
"You should have seen me coming"
"You have done well taking me down"
I voiced, my voice filled with boldness.
I slowly stood up grabbing my spear.
"Fight or die" Rachie screamed running towards my direction.
Tiana stood carefully waiting for Rachie to attack. Shiloh had given her a hint. Rachie threw a sword at her but she dodged. She could see Rachie was good at running- she had a bad leg.
"My Turn"
Tiana mumbled as they rushed at each other.
In haste, Tiana kicked her leg which made Rachie fall heavily to the hard floor. In no time, Tiana had pointed her spear at Rachie's nose.
"I've got you" Tiana smiled.
"This is just a test girl" Rachie laughed and turned into dust.
"f**k, she isn't even being"
"That's what you get from a goddess"
Shira whispered.
I Moved to the Southeast of the Vieen forest, my gown sliding on the mud floor. My foot print creating patterns. The cold breeze blew around- I shivered. I could feel cold. The day darkened, thunder struck heavily. The rain drizzled- the cold increased but I kept walking.
Faraway, I sighted a tent. It was glowing amidst the dark forest- it was open, wide open. I hastened my footsteps so I could get there in a hurry. I hurriedly arrived at the tent. I grabbed my spear, ready to face danger. My pulse quickened, my heart racing fast. I scanned the inside, they were woven mats, a jug of water and some meal. I could feel the warmth inside but there was no one inside.
"It's like someone camped here and got hunted by something"
I muttered to myself.
Fearfully about to lay on a mat, a beautiful lady appeared before me, she was elegantly dressed in a white royal gown. Her hair was blonde, her eyeballs pigmented in Gold. She was on a golden crown and a silver necklace. Her jewelries shone very bright. A name was forged on the necklace.
It was written 'Karina'.
The lady kept gazing at me, her eyes were sharp. Her eyelashes were long-scanty. I remembered what Shiloh told me about. I was to get my magical sword from Karina.
"She is Karina"
My wolf whispered.
"I am Karina"
"The Golden queen, sword giver, guider of the chosen ones"
"I have lived for thousands of decades waiting for chosen ones like you to come"
"Shiloh might have explained me to you"
"Yes, I was told you have my sword"
"Yes, I do" she smiled.
"But you must be a huntress"
