Elowen POV STRYKER HAS BEEN outside all night. I don’t even think he went home to eat or change, considering he’s still wearing the same clothes as the last time I saw him. I may be angry and hurt, but I can’t deny the warm feeling in my chest knowing he’s out there. I woke a few times in the night with the remnants of horrible nightmares bursting behind my eyes, but having Stryker close by made me feel safe. Even so, I don’t know what he wants from me.
