Ten years later…
“I can’t believe our mates finally let us get away together!” Everly says excitedly, and I grin.
“Me either. I thought Dominic was going to stow away in my luggage,” I joke.
“Don’t be so sure that he didn’t,” Elowen teases as we toss our suitcases down on the hotel room beds.
The three of us went for a spa getaway. It’s supposed to be three days and two nights of relaxation for us, but getting our mates to agree to let us go without them was like pulling teeth.
I know they worry about us and want us to be safe, but we can take care of ourselves.
