After saying goodbye to his friends, way sooner than he had planned, his first instinct was to disappear. He felt terrible for putting Soomin on a spot where she was ridiculed in front of his friends where she wasn’t at fault.
It was his, he could have tried to persuade the boys to meet somewhere that wasn’t on her daily route, but the fact that something like that could happen didn’t even cross his mind once.
