“Sophia, where have you been?” I suddenly heard Arthur’s voice from behind me. He looked pissed off. Damn! I forgot that he would come to my house tonight. My words got stuck in my tongue. “Umm… I was just hanging out with friends.” I said, lying. “Why you didn’t pick up my call? I’ve been worried.” He asked rather snarky at me. I pulled out my phone, and I saw 30 missed calls from him.
“Sorry, Arthur. I’ve put my phone in silent mode. I didn’t know you were calling.” I said and pulled him into my house. We were both in my room.
