I didn't sleep very well at all last night. I spent most of the night tossing and turning. I just couldn't get over the fact that Christian Claus was my mate. I know that what grandpa said is true; there is no way to fake a mate bond. But it's still hard to wrap my head around.
But it also makes me wonder, what would have happened if I never would have ran away from home? What would the wizard have done when they found out that Christian and I were actually mates? He was trying to keep me from finding my mate after all. I need to have my brothers ask that question the next time our family is trying to find me or talking about me.
Since I couldn't sleep, I finally got up, went out to the living room, and grabbed the books that I had taken. I decided to try to get some reading
