Mike glanced at his watch and said with an apologetic expression, "Sorry, Mr. Morris asked me to come early and wait for you, but something just came up. Please forgive me."
Clarice shook her head. "It's okay, I just arrived too."
As Mike was about to lead Clarice away, Donna reached out and stopped her.
"Wait, who are you? How can you take someone inside without an invitation?"
Mike looked at Donna calmly and instructed the security guards, "Take this ordinary guest to the banquet hall to wait. It's going to rain soon. Don't let the guest catch a chill."
Several security guards immediately stepped forward, surrounding Donna and urging her to leave.
Even though Donna was unwilling, she could tell that Mike wasn't someone to mess with, so she followed the security guards' directions.
