LUCIEN’s POV:
A deafening growl erupted from her lips as Kiara transformed into a dark brown wolf, her eyes blazing with murderous intent at my huntress.
“Kiara, stand down!” I growled.
Kiara ignored my warning, though, unaware that I was hanging by a thin thread. Her audacity egged us on. She launched herself at Storm, her wolf’s eyes trained on her neck, an intent to kill.
Just as she was about to attack Storm, I zoomed past her, intercepting the attack and shielding Storm. A loud, ferocious growl emanated from my throat, making sure that everyone in the vicinity would feel it.
