MATTEO’s POV:
I gazed at my beautiful mate putting our kids to bed with happiness in my heart.
“I've missed you,” she said through the mate-link, making me smile and bite my lip. As she covered our youngest daughter, Kayla and pecked her forehead, she moved over for me to do the same.
“Where is my own kiss?” she teased when I lifted my head.
“Oh, you want one too,” I whispered playfully as I hugged her to me and peppered kisses all over her face; she squealed like a toddler, slapping my chest, a hearty laugh spilling from her throat.
“Matty, not here,” she scolded. “You're going to wake the kids; come on.” I let her drag me towards our room, securely locking our children's room before we left.
