LUCIEN’s POV:
“Matteo,” I called out in panic as my feisty huntress suddenly slumped against me. Matteo rushed towards us; he was coming from the infirmary where my men, whom she had rendered useless, were being tended to. When I had tried mind-linking with Matteo and got a mental block instead, I knew something was terribly wrong. I had found my powerful Beta lying on the floor unconscious much to my amazement. She had bested four of my best warriors, all alone and with a single silver dagger. A weak, puny human against wolves and she won.
When I checked all their injuries, I noticed she only aimed to maim them, not kill. I was impressed by her skill and prowess.
