CHAPTER 50 Storm’s POV I sat upright on the dry ground, my eyes squinting to adjust to the low light streaming in through the gaps left by the canopy of trees above. A sneeze tore through my chest as I gazed down at my dusty clothes, making a confused expression cross my features. I gingerly got to my feet, my whole back protesting with a full ache for some reason. After successfully standing up, I shook the dust off my clothes, And then, I noticed something alarming – my feet were bare. Why the hell was I in the woods? Without shoes on? How the hell did I even get here? But I was sleeping on my bed! I inhaled deeply, my lungs filling up with the smell of damp earth and morning dew.
