Amir was trembling from the need to go to Catania and investigate Nadira's disappearance here. Mohammed was trembling with a similar need, yet his desire for revenge outweighed the hope of getting the stolen thing back.
Once he arrived twenty miles on the north of Catania, Amir broke the delay and urged his horse to anticipate the caravan. Mohammed, seeing him, spurred the entire caravan to speed up the pace.
