When Corrado arrived in Tragina, Roger encouraged him to postpone the issue of Nadira and to follow him to the mainland, to enjoy their new brides and to give them a life worthy of their lineage. According to Roger, the latter objective was to be pursued by demanding from Roberto what he had never granted him, although promised under oath.
