Chapter II - The Auroras

2042

Dina and Mikksha met when their families were among the first settlers on Nouvelle Terre in the year 2042. They were both 13 years old. Dina and her family evacuated from a dying Earth among the last 3000 survivors. Whereas, Mikksha and her Wizzen family moved from Wiz to Nouvelle Terre to start anew.

In the settling stage of Nouvelle Terre, former Earthers were difficult, narrow-minded, highly judgemental, critical of other races and species. Some even tried to instore hateful racist and sexist groups but they were squashed by the free-thinking, progressive founders of Nouvelle Terre, who made it known from the get go that all are equal and to follow the code of conduct in order to remain citizens of this complex but accepting planet.

Mikksha

Mikksha Aurora was a Wizzen by birth. Her mother Taissa, and father Miikka left Wiz with their two children, Mikksha and her brother, Tka for a freer, better life in Nouvelle Terre. They are a fully Wizzen family who practice the arts fervently.

As a matter of fact, all natives of Wiz are nature bound, high-powered over the elements, and spiritual. That singularity and femininity attracted Dina to Mikksha even more.

Mikksha was beautifully shaped in all the right places. She was bronze-skinned, 6 feet tall, curvaceous, broad shoulders with long flowing green hair reaching to her round derriere, and amber red fiery eyes. She stole couple of hearts here and there unknowingly.

Mikksha and her family were among the very few Wizzen in Nouvelle Terre and the only Wizzen family residing in Racine. Needless to say, they became a staple of the gorgeous town almost overnight because of their uniqueness and their special skillsets.

Dina

Dina Troja hailed originally from a small town in New Jersey. Her mother Jackie, and father Leon were NASA engineers. Dina knew better than anyone in her world when the last days on Earth were abruptly approaching.

Selfishly, her parents among other NASA employees, Government Officials, especially Skilled Millionaires, Billionaires, and World leaders made it to the list of the last 3000 "lucky" survivors from Earth.

Dina left Earth with her parents and her three siblings for a better world on November 14, 2042.

Mikksha

The first time Mikksha laid eyes on Dina, was per chance. Upon everyone's arrival at Nouvelle Terre aka NT, they are accommodated based on their price tag or their level of intellect and skills that can benefit NT.

Raciel Commune has temporary housing, inprocessing and out processing centers for all Newcomers arriving in NT. Nerla Commune houses the founding members of NT. The skilled Millionaires and Billionaires were placed in Bouget Commune. Government Officials were housed in Neptune Commune. World Leaders were integrated in Lucas Commune. NASA Employees were transitioned in Racine. The Auroras were supposed to be transferred to Miah Commune where other Wizzen descents reside harmoniously with other species. A last minute change in their integration process, rerouted them to Racine as it was made known that they would be a great asset to the Engineers.

The residents of these seven Communes, Raciel, Racine, Bouget, Neptune, Lucas, Miah, and Nerla in the Delta realm rarely gets to meet each other. With the exception of the annual festivals.

Mikksha saw a human girl of mixed heritage for the first time in her life while at the processing center in Raciel waiting to be relocated in Racine. And from that moment on, she made a promise to herself to be in this girl's life for as long as she still breathes.

Dina

Dina was 13 years old in Racine when Mikksha finally asked her about a shirt she was wearing.
