ELENA’S POV Elena had been locked up in her room after the attack. It's been three days now. Her mind kept wandering, and her nightmares even came in the afternoon. She sits by the window, replaying the gunshots over and over. She hasn’t eaten much. She keeps wondering why someone would want to kill her. But Leo, she was always thinking of him. She missed him and wondered if the little boy was okay. “I wish I never came here,” she whispered to herself as she walked to the door.
