a dream/dreams destroyed

“That’s it, Heitor, harder,” she urged as he fully entered her. She had already had two delicious orgasms, and another one was building, making her whole body tremble and her skin tingle. “Who would have thought that behind that innocent face you were such a naughty girl,” Heitor said. He then gave Júlia a firm slap on the butt, making her moan. Increasing the speed of his thrusts, he soon reached the peak. As his body weakened, she collapsed onto the bed. He quickly turned her over and leaned over her, capturing her lips in a thirsty kiss. “You like my kisses, don’t you?” “Yes…” she whispered. He spread her legs again and positioned himself between them, penetrating her once more and drawing another moan from her. “Heitor…” “How lovely—moaning so sweetly. You were craving this. It’s good to finally be in the arms of a real man, isn’t it?” “Yes,” she murmured, before his lips captured hers again in an intense kiss. “Júlia… Júlia…” Gradually, the image began to fade, along with his voice. She suddenly woke up and saw Jade beside her, shaking her gently. “Júlia, you were having a nightmare.” “Huh… was I?” she asked, still disoriented, glancing around as if searching for signs that the dream had been real. “Yes. You were moaning and saying things I couldn’t understand.” “Oh, dear.” “Júlia, are you okay?” Jade asked, clearly worried. “Yes… yes. What time is it?” Júlia asked, sliding her hands over her eyes. “Almost seven thirty.” “I’m late, Jade. I need to go to work. I already lost half the day yesterday.” “It’s okay. Make yourself at home. The room is yours, and you can take whatever you want from my wardrobe.” “Thank you, friend.” After getting ready, Júlia grabbed her bag and left Jade’s room. Walking down the corridor, she descended the stairs and reached the living room, where she ran into Heitor. Immediately, her cheeks flushed—not only because of the kiss from the previous night but also because of the erotic dream she had just had about him, which was still echoing in her mind. “Good morning, Júlia,” he said. He noticed her embarrassed expression and laughed softly, guessing she was remembering the kiss from the previous night. “Good morning, Mr. Heitor,” she replied quietly. “How do you feel?” “Well, um… I’m fine,” she said, stammering. He laughed again. The reaction was different from what he was used to—innocent, unpretentious, natural. Unlike any woman he had kissed before. “What are you laughing at?” she asked. “Nothing.” “I’m heading out. I already missed half the day at work yesterday. I can’t lose today, either.” “I’ll take you.” “What… you?” she asked, even more nervous. “Yes. What’s the problem? It’s not the first time I’ve given you a ride,” he said, noticing her blush deepen. “No need. I’ll manage. I’ll take the bus.” “No way. I’m not letting you take a crowded bus while I’m available.” “I don’t want to bother you, Mr. Heitor.” “It’s no bother at all. Are you ready?” “Yes, but—” “No ‘buts.’ ” I won’t take no for an answer.” “Alright,” she said with resignation. On the way to Júlia’s workplace, she remained silent, tapping her foot nervously and wringing her hands. He noticed all of it. It was obvious she was nervous, and it stroked his ego a little, even though he had no intention of repeating anything that had happened. Júlia was his daughter’s best friend, and he respected her deeply. Besides, he still saw her as very young and had never been involved with someone her age. When they arrived at the bookstore where Júlia worked, Heitor parked the car and quickly got out. Before she could open the door herself, he opened it for her, displaying his gentlemanly manners. She smiled awkwardly. “Thank you. And thanks for the ride. See you later.” “I’m not leaving yet,” he said. “You’re not?” she asked, confused. “I’ll stay here until the store opens and you go inside. I’m not risking leaving you here and having that jerk of an ex show up and assault you again.” She looked at him gratefully and smiled, feeling safer. Standing on the sidewalk beside Heitor, Júlia waited for the store owner to arrive and open the shop. It was already quite late, which she found strange. Finally, he appeared. But the look he gave her was disapproving. “Júlia, what are you doing here?” asked the owner of the establishment. “I came to work, Mr. Mendes.” “I’m sorry, Júlia, but you don’t work here anymore,” he said bluntly. “What? But what did I do?” she asked, tears forming in her eyes. She needed that job. Even with a scholarship at her college, she depended on her salary to cover the remaining expenses—materials, transportation, and helping with household bills. “You didn’t do anything. You’ve always been a great employee.” “Then why are you firing her?” Heitor asked, confused. “Yesterday, after the commotion outside, your boyfriend came here and destroyed my store. He broke the computer, tore books, and threw everything he could find onto the floor. I filed a police report, but the justice system is flawed, and I know it won’t lead to much. I also know that if you keep coming here, he’ll come back. I can’t risk having my store destroyed again. I’m sorry.” “Please… I need the job,” Júlia said, her voice choked with emotion. “I understand, Júlia, but I really can’t.” “Júlia, come on,” Heitor said gently. He took her by the arm and led her to the car. Standing beside it, he pulled her into a comforting hug. “Everything will be okay, Ju.” “It won’t, Heitor. I need that job. How will I cover my college expenses? How will I help my sister at home?” “I can help you. Don’t worry about it.” “Heitor, it’s not your responsibility.” “Júlia…” “Can you take me home?” she asked through tears. “Of course.” He released her from the hug, opened the car door for her, and she quickly got in, curling up in the seat. During the drive to her house, she cried the entire way silently. Heitor felt worried and helpless. Seeing her like that hurt him, but there wasn’t much he could do. When they finally arrived at her house, Júlia sat with her head in her hands. Heitor looked toward the house and noticed the broken door and several belongings scattered across the sidewalk. “Júlia… your house. What happened?” he asked with concern. She lifted her head and, upon seeing the scene, rushed out of the car. “Júlia, wait! Whoever did this might still be inside!” he called, getting out of the car. But she didn’t stop. She ran inside, and he followed quickly to protect her. The sight inside shocked them both. The sofa in the living room was completely torn apart, the TV smashed, and the coffee table shattered into pieces. “Oh God, Júlia, watch out. There are glass shards everywhere,” he warned. “It was him, Heitor. It had to be him.” She ran to the kitchen. There, too, nothing had been spared—the stove dented, the refrigerator damaged, pots destroyed. Everything they had worked so hard to buy was ruined. For Júlia and her sister, owning this small and humble house had once been a dream. Now everything was broken. Destroyed. “Júlia, let’s get out of here. This isn’t helping you,” he said, worried as he saw her becoming more desperate. “No, Heitor. I have to see the rest of the house.” She walked down the hallway. Even the bathroom had been vandalized. Then she entered the bedroom she shared with her sister. More destruction awaited them—mattresses torn apart, the wardrobe and clothes ruined, the desk smashed. Next to it was a pile of papers. Kneeling beside them, she realized they were her college books and notebooks—books that had cost two months of her salary, even secondhand. “He destroyed everything… everything,” she whispered in despair. Unable to watch her suffer any longer, Heitor grabbed her arm and helped her stand. “Come on, Júlia. You need to calm down. This is hurting you.” Completely disoriented, she nodded and followed him. But in the hallway, they saw something they hadn’t noticed before. On the wall was a threatening message, scrawled in large letters: “If you don’t stay with me, you won’t be with anyone else. I swear.” Júlia felt her legs give out beneath her. But Heitor caught her before she fell. Without hesitation, he lifted her into his arms and carried her back toward the car.
