Jim was shocked to hear from his pal George that of all people D .I. Tony Ray was to be in charge of finding the killer of Franco. He was shocked also to hear that Tony was to pick his own team. Jim could not believe the killer of that young kid in Italy and now Franco was in fact investigating himself. D.I.Tony Ray was seen by his superiors as a dedicated and loyal officer, one whom they set great sights on for promotion, and the solving of this case would certainly put him in line for leadership in an area such as Essex or maybe Kent. Jim, meanwhile, set up the meeting with George and Mary along with his pal Paolo who it seemed had his own ideas on revenge.
