Catherine's POV
I didn't know why I didn't want to reply to Roy's message when I saw it.
I was tired but couldn't fall asleep.
When I was about to get up to take a shower, my phone rang.
I wondered who called me at such a late hour. Could it be Roy? I picked up my phone and saw that it was from James.
I didn't know why my heart beat faster when I saw James' call. I held the phone in my right hand and hesitated whether to answer it. My left hand covered my heart, which was beating wildly. I took a few deep breaths and told myself, calm down, Catherine. Calm down.
Just as I was about to answer the call, James hung up the phone.
At that moment, I was disappointed. I complained in my mind, you are impatient. Why do you hang up so quickly?
