Catherine's POV
There had been no message from James for two days since he called me that night.
Feeling like something was missing every day, I could hardly resist the impulse to call him.
On the third day, I could not help but call him, but his phone had turned off.
I called his secretary. He said James had not been to the company for the past two days and that he could not get in touch with James either.
I was worried when I heard that. After thinking about it, I realized James was an adult. He must have something to do, so he did not go to the company.
After that, though I thought of him every day, I had too many things to do. I was busy when I thought of him, and I had no time to think of him when I was busy.
On the fifth day, he finally called me.
