Catherine's POV
I just laid there, staring at my phone and waiting for James’ reply until I fell asleep.
I didn't sleep well the whole night and always felt that there was a strange sound echoing around. When I woke up in the morning, I was dizzy.
In a daze, I took out my phone and saw a message from Monica. "I've sent the children to school. Don't worry, sleep a while longer."
I stared at the screen and looked at the time. It was already late in the morning! I got up quickly and dialed Monica's number while preparing breakfast. "Morning. Sorry, I overslept."
"Don't be so polite with me. Are you okay? You still seem tired from your voice."
I sniffed. "Maybe because I had too many strange dreams last night, I felt dizzy."
"Then sleep for a while more. It's fine to take a day off."
