James' POV
I wanted to pretend that I didn't wake up, but how? My whole being was disturbed because of her presence.
When she walked to my side, I sensed her smell.
The smell of her perfume was always faint. It was the same smell she had even before..
I knew that she would cover me with a blanket, and I took the opportunity to gently grab her hand, but I dared not do anything else. I just wanted her to be inside my arms.
This was the only thing I could do at the moment.
However, she did not seem to care about me. She freed herself from my hand.
I heard her lock the door, so I got up quickly and put the dinner into the trash can.
I didn't want to go back to my room, so I just laid on the sofa and looked at her room, as if I would be with her as long as I looked at her like this. I k
