James' POV
I didn't want to start an argument with Catherine, and when she threw a tantrum at me, I knew that the way I spoke made her misunderstand me.
Again, this was my weakness.
I was not good at explaining.
After I watched her enter the company, I immediately called the secretary and asked him to check her out.
I glanced at the crumpled check, and fortunately, I did not give it to her impulsively. Or else, things could have gone worse.
She would definitely have been angrier.
When I thought of how sad she had been just now, my heart ached. I wanted to hold her in my arms and tell her that it was fine if the company was not open.
However, I knew that if I said that, she would definitely go mad. I knew how she wanted to get it started.
I knew how much she cared about her company
