Emily's POV
I knew for sure this was Tyler's doing.
The moment Mr. Collins picked up that phone call, his whole expression changed. He just dismissed me like I had walked in to beg for scraps.
Now, I knew for sure it was Ethan I saw earlier. He must've come because Tyler sent him. He came to ruin this for me. I felt my blood boil as I stormed out of the office building, Wendy hurried after me.
“Emily!” She called. “Emily, wait! Where are you rushing off to? What even happened back there? I don’t understand.”
