Emily's POV Every time Skylar had a panic attack and everyone rushed in, my eyes didn’t stay on Skylar alone. They searched the room. And every single time, I noticed the same thing. There was always someone present. During the two major panic attacks Skylar had this week, he had been there. And now, as I stood in the room again, he was here. The only one already inside before anyone else arrived. It couldn’t be a coincidence. Skylar’s condition wasn’t random. It wasn’t just fear or sudden episodes. This was a pattern. And the more I watched, the clearer it became that it was more than just a hunch. For Skylar’s sake, I couldn’t keep dismissing it anymore. This was serious. The sound of Skylar crawling towards me pulled me straight out of my thoughts.
