Executing My Revenge

1584 Words
Michelle I'm not sure what I felt when Raymond touched my hand. But it was almost like a shock wave in my hand. What does that mean? I didn't know how to react after that transaction, so I quickly pulled my hand away from his. After finishing our lunch, we returned to his office to resume work. He primarily dealt with paperwork and made phone calls, while I assisted by organizing and filing his documents. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door, and Raymond called out for whoever was outside to come in. In walked Brian, casually strolling into the office. He immediately noticed the disdain etched on his face. "Father, what is she doing here?" Brian questioned as if I wasn't present in the room. "None of your business why Michelle is here. Now, what do you want? Raymond asked Brian, "I came to see what you needed from me." "I don't need anything from you at the moment," Raymond said. "I thought you said you needed me to do some work on your behalf?" he asked, a hint of confusion. "I needed you days ago, but I no longer need you. I gave Michelle the responsibility," Raymond explained. Brian looked concerned. "What do you mean you have Michelle?" he asked. "Michelle is my new assistant. She will be handling things alongside me," Raymond informed him. "That's bullshit," Brian yelled out, but Raymond cut him off before he could finish. "Who the hell do you think you are. I have told you numerous times that Alpha duties are important, and you must shadow me to learn more and prepare yourself when you take over as Alpha someday. However, you are never gonna listen, you are never gonna learn, and you damn sure are not taking things seriously. I don't want to see you until you get your act together. Now get the hell out of my office," Raymond roared. I was stuck, feeling uncertain about what to do next. Brian glanced at me briefly before walking out of the office. "I'm sorry, Michelle, you had to witness that," Raymond said softly. "We all face challenges, Raymond. I just didn't realize it was this severe with Brian," I responded quietly. "At this stage, I doubt Brian will ever be ready to take on the role of Alpha. His actions clearly indicate that he's not. Nonetheless, let's not let him spoil the mood. The workday is nearly over, and dinner is approaching. Would you like to join me for dinner tonight, Michelle?" he asked with a gentle smile. I nodded in agreement. A whole week has passed since then. During this time, I have gotten to know Raymond much better and have been working harder. I have also been surveilling my house to learn my mother's and sisters' schedules so I can act on my plans. Since Nama suggested putting glue in Brandy's shampoo and poison ivy and wolfsbane in her body wash, that's exactly what I'm going to do. Another week went by, and it was time to make my move. On Saturday, I finally got a chance to sneak into my house and hide the items among Brandy's belongings. This should teach her not to mess with me again. "We can do a lot worse than this to her, you know, "Nama stated. "How worse, Nama? I asked. "While we can always erase all of her schoolwork from her computer. As a mother, I'm still thinking how we can get back at her," she said. After leaving the bathroom, I made my way to my old bedroom to get some things I had forgotten. Mainly a picture of my father and things of his I hold dear. As I gathered my belongings, my mind wandered, pondering what life might have been like if my father had chosen to stay or had taken me along when he left. Suddenly, I was pulled out of my reverie by the sound of the front door opening. I glanced at the time on my phone, and it was just after lunch. Why have they returned so early than I had expected? This development was definitely not good. I tried to be as quiet as possible, and when they were busy, I could slip out of the house. I heard someone talking from a distance. I figured this was an excellent opportunity to leave unnoticed. I slowly and quietly opened the bedroom door. As I stepped out into the hallway, I made my way down the stairs to be met by my mother. "Why the hell are you in my house?" she yelled as she grabbed my hair. She pulled me down the rest of the stairs, making me fall to the floor along with my belongings. "You are truly dumb for coming back here," Brandy stated. "You owe me money. Brian told us you have been working with the Alpha, so he should be paying you while," my mother said. "So give up the money, " Brandy chimed in. I got off the floor and dusted myself off. "I will do no such thing. If you want money. Go get it yourselves," I replied. " How dare you talk to your mother that way. You are a disrespectful brat," my mother continued to yell. "Let's face it, you stopped being my mother a long time ago," I stated. My mother attacked me once again by slapping me hard across my face. "Just because you have a job now with our Alpha, you think you're better than us," Brandy stated as she tried to slap me as well. However, I caught her wrist and stopped her from hitting me. But what happened next, I didn't see coming. My mother hit me in the back of my head with something hard. I felt dizzy instantly. As I held my head, I reached for Brandy, knocking her over, and as for my mother, I slapped her right back. In unison, they both yelled out, "You b***h! I left the house feeling good and reassured but slightly wounded, as I held my head. I turned and headed back to the pack house, still holding my head high despite the lingering pain. Once inside, I moved purposefully toward my room, but my path was suddenly blocked by a tall, solid figure. It was Raymond. I wondered how I hadn’t noticed him. "What happened to you? Come with me," he said firmly. I wasn't entirely sure how badly I was hurt, but Raymond’s reaction suggested it was more serious than I initially thought. He reached out and gently took my hand, guiding me toward the elevator that would take us up to his private suite. Once inside, he led me to the half-bath on the first floor. Inside the restroom, Raymond effortlessly lifted me and set me down on the sink. "Raymond, what are you doing?" I asked, immediately sensing that something unusual was happening. "You're hurt, babygirl. I'm going to tend to your injury," he said. Gently, he dabbed a little alcohol on the corner of my lip and also checked me from head to toe to see if I had any more injuries. "What happened, Michelle? Please be honest with me. "When I went back home and got into a scuffle with my mother and sister," I told him. Leaving out the fact that the reason I went there. "You are not going back there again, that's a command. The pack house is your new home. Do you understand me? he said. "Yes, Alpha," I replied. I'm concerned about you, babygirl," he said softly as he moved closer. "I don't want anything bad to happen to you," he confessed while closing the distance further, our lips just inches apart. I sensed a strange, electric tension between us that I couldn't quite understand. "Okay, Alpha. I'll stay here from now on," I replied. Suddenly, Raymond's lips gently brushed against mine. In that instant, I lost control and pressed my lips to his. The kiss was sweet, but soon turned hungry and passionate. "Alpha tastes amazing," Nama remarked. I wrapped my arms around Raymond's neck, pulling him even closer. He finally withdrew from my lips just long enough to kiss my neck and shoulder, igniting a fiery connection between us. Every touch from him felt like fireworks throughout my body. This felt so right, but then reality hit me. I'm kissing my alpha, my ex-mate's father. On top of that, what will the pack members think? Raymond is so much older than I am; how could he want me? I didn't want him to stop, but I eventually pushed him back softly. "I'm sorry, Raymond. I shouldn't have kissed you," I expressed. "It's fine, Michelle," he said as he caressed my cheek. "But you're my alpha and. Brian's father. I shouldn't have done that," I stated. "Michelle, look at me. I understand your concern, but I know now more than ever, we are each other's second chance, mate," he stated The Alpha's second chance isn't possible. How can this be? "How is this possible that you're my mate?" I said. "The pull, can you feel it too. That is our mate bond," he started to say. But I understood that you are afraid to move on because you don't want to get hurt again. "I am afraid that what Brian did to me will happen again," I confessed. "I will never hurt you, Michelle. Just take some time to think this over.
