By the time the paramedics rushed Lily into the resuscitation room, Gabriel was already on a video call with the doctors in Bellmont. Six weeks earlier, he had formulated the first batch of antidote from the supplement powder and personally delivered it to that hospital. Now the doctors pushed a dose into Lily's IV. Nothing changed at first. The readings on the monitor kept falling, and the doctors put her on assisted ventilation. People moved in and out of frame.
